Emissions associated with compressors:

Fracking involves the use of compressors to pump fluid into wells at pressures high enough to fracture underground shale deposits and release contained natural gas. To achieve sufficient pressure, compressors produce high amounts of diesel emissions. Further, natural gas can be released into the air when excess pressure occurs. Addressing ambient and source air emissions, testing is needed to ensure the fracking process has not released unsafe levels of pollutants. Available analytical services address:
