This briefing was hosted by the American Council of Independent Laboratories which is an is an association representing independent commercial scientific and engineering firms with over 1,000 facilities across the U.S. engaged in testing, product certification, consulting, and research and development to enhance public health and safety. Judith, who also acts as the ACIL Environmental Sciences Section Chair opened the briefing with an overview of the ACIL and then separate sections on conformity assessment, construction materials engineering and testing, food sciences, and environmental sciences.
