California Proposition 65

In September 2016, California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a final rule, amending the existing Prop 65 legislation. The amended legislation imposes new requirements on the warning label contents and methods of transmission. The new requirements take effect on August 30, 2018, but businesses can comply with either the existing law or the new provisions in the interim. This presentation provides a background to Prop 65 and examines the new labeling requirements.

The New TSCA

On June 22, 2016, the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act (H.R.2576) which amends the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) was signed into law. The Act became effective immediately. This presentation will review the major amendments/changes of the Act and how they affect industry.

Introduction to GHS

WHMIS 2015
