Pace Analytical Assists in Oil Spill Response in the Gulf.

Pace Analytical, Inc. (Pace), is working around the clock to provide the data crucial to the emergency responders on scene. Pace has set up service centers for bottle staging and sample collection near three Gulf Coast Command Centers located in: Houma, LA, Houston, TX, and Mobile, AL. Pace is working 24-7 to provide sampling containers, equipment and courier service for samples to the laboratory. Once at the lab, sample analysis is being conducted on a quick-turn basis, and data is being made available in real time via PacePort―Pace’s online data access. As soon as it has been validated by the chemists in the laboratory, the data is uploaded seamlessly by the laboratory information management system (LIMS) into PacePort, enabling emergency responders to access the data in real time and make decisions regarding response actions.
