Administrative Business Manager for our Ormond Beach, FL Location
Responsible for financial, human resources, administrative and facility management for the entire operation. Also provides input relative to tactical and strategic planning activities
Responsibilities:
- Organize financial information so that the laboratory is run as a fiscally responsible business
- Provide ongoing financial information to management team so they can better manage their area of responsibility
- Provide timely and accurately weekly and monthly forecasts
- Work with management to develop accurate budget and track on an ongoing basis
- Work with administrative support staff to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and process AP entries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Administer human resources policies and procedures for all laboratory personnel
- Administer compensation program; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary
- Perform benefits administration to include claim resolution, communicating benefit information to employees
- Develop pro-active recruiting activities to allow the laboratory to maintain a pool of flex employees
- Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
Requirements:
- Degree in business or accounting and 5 years of office/business management experience preferred. Requires strong PC and spreadsheet experience.
- Must possess an ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word

Laboratory Analyst
Pace Analytical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Organic GC Semi-Volatile Analyst to staff our Analytical Laboratory in Ormond Beach, FL
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of routine instrumental analysis on GC instrumentation for Pesticides and DW analysis
- Operate and adjust varied equipment for purposes such as performing the full range of standardized operations
- Determine appropriate methods, techniques, systems or revisions of systems necessary to solve problems in a single function
- Report data
- Assist with preparation of written reports
- Conduct routine maintenance of instrumentation
- Promote cooperation and teamwork among staff
- Follow Pace Analytical Services, Inc. Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- Organizational and communication skills as well as a strong sense of motivation are a must. Candidate must be able to multi-task with accuracy and speed
Requirements:
- College degree (BA/BS) preferably in the sciences
- 3 - 5 years laboratory experience
