Environmental Field Tech I
Summary:
Provide sampling services to clients, mainly in the air testing area
Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of sampling methods used for measuring particulates, metals, acid gases, sulfur gases, hydrocarbon gases, volatile and semi-volatile organics emissions
  • Perform field sampling in accordance with EPA, NIOSH, and OSHA methodologies, field service QA manual, and client directed objectives
  • Interact daily with clients
  • Promote cooperation and teamwork among staff
  • Follow Pace Analtyical Services, Inc. policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; 3 - 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Mathematical skills: able to complete basic calculations, compute ratios and percents, and draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Capable and willing to travel at least 50% and work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Must have the ability to lift equipment in excess of 75 pounds
