Summary:
Candidate will purchase equipment from external sources and coordinate transfer of used equipment from internal labs
Responsibilities:
  • Call current and prospective clients to ascertain their instrument surpluses
  • Purchase used lab equipment
  • Travel to facilities to pack and ship equipment
  • Coordinate transfer of equipment from internal facilities
  • Maintain database of instruments transferred and purchased in Indysoft database
  • Coordinate instrument moves
  • Light Travel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Have knowledge of purchasing
  • Be highly self-motivated
  • Be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
