Billings Project Manager
This position is under the supervision of the Laboratory Services Manager and is responsible for serving as the primary technical and administrative liaison between clients and Pace Analytical Services, Inc. through daily coordination of activities, including taking orders, reporting data and analytical results. Represents laboratory services to prospective and existing clients and maintains client records.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation of routine quotations and reports
- Responsible for solicitation of work requests, assisting with proposal preparation and project initiation/preparation with clients and operationally within Pace Analytical. This includes mediation of project schedules and scope of work through communication with Pace operations and management
- Utilize client and internal resources to assist in preparing Quality Assurance Plans, analytical methods, set data quality objectives and define deliverable requirements
- Responsible for project setup, oversight of sample receipts, monitoring project status and ensuring samples are collected, analyzed, documented and reported in conformance with client requirements. Routinely the Project Manager submits project status reports to clients and Pace Analytical management and submits project deliverable and invoice to the client.
- Responsible for client follow-up to include client satisfaction, additional projects, market status, to potentially increase revenue with clients.
- Promotes cooperation and teamwork among staff
- Must follow Pace Analytical Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements:
- BA/BS in chemistry or related science preferred with two years technical experience in environmental remediation
- Must be a multi-tasker, team player, self-motivated and organized
- Must have effective oral/written communication skills and possess excellent interpersonal skills
