Project Manager I
Candidate will serve as the primary technical and administrative liaison between clients and Pace Analytical Services through daily coordination of activities including taking orders, reporting data and analytical results and represent Pace laboratory services to prospective and existing clients and maintains client records.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare routine quotations and reports
- Solicit work requests, assist with proposal preparation and project initiation/preparation with clients and operationally within Pace Analytical to include: mediation of project schedules and scope of work through communication with Pace operations and management
- Utilize client and internal resources to assist in preparing Quality Assurance Plans, analytical methods, set data quality objectives and define data deliverable requirements
- Responsible for project setup, oversight of sample receipts, monitoring project status and ensuring samples are collected, analyzed, documented and reported in conformance with client requirements
- Submit project status reports to clients and Pace Analytical management
- Submit project deliverable and invoice to the client
- Responsible for client follow-up to include client satisfaction, additional projects, market status, to potentially increase revenue with clients
- Follow Pace Analytical Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and promote teamwork and cooperation among staff
Requirements:
- BA/BS in chemistry or related science
- Two years of technical experience in environmental remediation is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively relate to clients and team members
